END OF YEAR MEME, WHAT FUN
villainesses:

HOW TO: open a new text post and type letters a-z into the tags and take your favorite tag it suggests and post it out of context. this only works if you use tags as obsessive conversational add-ons like me, and if your computer saves the tags you’ve used before.
WHAT YOU COME UP WITH SHOULD BE SOME SORT OF REFLECTION OF YOUR CHARACTER. ENJOY.

interviewer: Did you ever think Lund and Troels would get together?
Lars Mikkelsen: Oh yeah, yeah! I thought that a lot of times. But I think it's nice that they had more of a tease, because when you do 20 episodes like that, you almost give it to the audience. Everybody's sitting there like, 'Oh, they're so alike, lonely lives and their jobs are everything for them and they're suitable', and then you don't give it to them! I think it's nice.

Trinity College Notebook by Isaac Newton
depalaeographia:
This is a notebook Newton acquired while he was an undergraduate at Trinity College and used from about 1661 to 1665. It includes many notes from his studies and, increasingly, his own explorations into mathematics, physics and metaphysics. It was judged ‘Not fit to be printed’ by Newton’s executor and was presented to the Library by the fifth Earl of Portsmouth in 1872.

If three spirits appeared before you on Christmas...
Brian: It's my view that the existence of ghosts would contravene the second law of thermodynamics. The principle of the conservation of energy, and the fact that entropy always increases; you'd be hard put to throw that away. You'd have to rip the book up; that's what it would imply if you saw a ghost. I would say, "I could not be any more surprised than I am by the fact that thermodynamics appears to be shit."
